Welcome to Day 8 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Avery Elle is the sponsor today, and I have to say that the tags I made with their Peek-a-Boo Tag Dies and Peek-a-Boo Holiday Tag Toppers are some of my most favorite tags this year.
I let each of my kiddos choose which critter they wanted on their tag. There is also a super cute moose in the die set, but I don't have enough children for that one. Lol. The girls both chose a fox. I knew the baby would because she loves orange. My older daughter wanted a fox, too, so I made her one, but I have a pretty good feeling that when she sees the Polar Bear she will swap for that one. She can't resist pink and flowers.I think the polar bear is the quickest of all the animals to put together since you don't even to have to cut eyes or a nose for this one. A quick run through the die machine, a couple accessories, and little color added to the cheeks and done.
Avery Elle's Peek-a-Boo Tag dies are great on their own, and I think the idea of the critter toppers is brilliant. There are several small dies in this set, but I do appreciate that they designed the dies with guidelines cut into them that you can trim out portions (all the white parts on the fox) from the main fox head instead of having to cut three small dies to get the pieces.
On my second fox tag I used two pom poms trimmed from the winter hat that I slightly altered to look like flowers. It's amazing how a little dot in the center compeltely transforms the shape into something new. This little foxy needed two flowers because our baby often has her hair in pigtails. Last up is a penguin for our son.
Ahh, and here is the bunch altogether. I can hardly handle the cuteness! Ican't help but smile when I see them.Thank you for taking that time to visit here today. You'll definitely want to check out Tracey's blog to see all the amazing tag's being shared today. I hope your creativity overflows! :)
These are just adorable!

ReplyDeleteOh, Lindsey.....these tags are DARLING! The first thing that popped into my head was that they look like PEZ dispensers. Just a thought...that would be a CUTE idea to give a PEZ dispenser with each one. SO stinking cute. You've got my creative wheels spinning again. Thanks for sharing your talents.
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable and would make great bookmarks afterwards.
ReplyDeleteYour adorable tags made me smile today, too, Lindsey! Lucky kiddos at your house! Hoping you'll like how you inspired me to make something totally different based on what you did--assuming what's in my head works--haha!
ReplyDeleteThese are all sweet as can be, Lindsey. They remind me of Pez dispensers, which were all the rage when I was a kid...remember the candy that was so delicious, even though it kind of tasted like soap?
ReplyDeleteYour kiddos made good choices and these turned out so sweet!
