Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Insta Hop Card

Hello, friends!  Today I am participating in a super fun instagram hop to celebrate Pretty Pink Posh's brand new release.  Make sure to head to my instagram account HERE to join the hop.  There are gift certificates to be won!  (Yay!)

My card today features Pretty Pink Posh's newly released Let's Party stamp set as well as the not-yet-released Celebrate Script die that you can earn as a free gift offer this month (see info below).

I started by stamping the birthday filled circle image and dotted outline from Let's Party in a cascading rainbow of colors.
Next, I cut strips of those same colors, glued them next to eachother on a piece of paper, and then die cut the Celebrate Script die.  (You could also take the easier route by simply coloring a rainbow of colors on a white die cut, but I don't have many markers and I wanted specific colors.) To get it to stand out just a bit more against the colorful card base, I die cut an additional cebrate word in white and offset it to the right just a tad, so it looks like a shadow.
I finished off my card by embossing one of the sentiments from Let's Party in white on a black strip of cardstock.
Thank you for visiting today!  Make sure to go to my instagram account HERE to join the hop.  There are so many fun cards and projects on the hop and by commenting on Instagram you can get in the running to win some Pretty Pink Posh gift certificates.

Pretty Pink Posh: Card + Announcement

Good morning and happy 2021!  I thought a happy announcement would be a good way to start the year off.  I'm delighted to say that I'll be continuing on with the Pretty Pink Posh team another term.  It's an honor to keep working with Paulina.  I know I've said it before, but she is such an incredibly kind and generous person--good to the core.

January also marks Pretty Pink Posh's birthday month, so in honor of both I made a card.  And I decided to use some of my favorite Pretty Pink Posh stamps and dies for it.

I still remember when Pretty Pink Posh released Flourishing Fuchsias.  I was so in awe with it and loved it right away.  It is gorgeous colored, but I think just the black lines are beautiful as well.  It comes with a variety of flower, leaf, and bud images, and I stamped most of them on my card.
Then I used the Happy Birthday Script die for my sentiment, coloring it in an ombre fashion after I had cut it out.  I added a second sentiment from Pretty Pink Posh's Simple Sentiments because if you've noticed, I sneak that sentiment set in as much as I can. :)
Thanks so much for joining me today!  We're just a few days in, but I truly hope your year is off to a good start.  I'm focusing on hope and choosing to see the good this year.  Oh, speaking of good things, you should definitely head over to the Pretty Pink Posh Blog.  Paulina is offering a chance to win a $100 gift certificate.  (See what I mean about being generous.)  I'd love for the winner to be one of you. :) Have a happy week, friends!
