Happy Saturday! I’m super excited about today’s tag. Some projects just make you extra happy, and this was one them for me. Lawn Fawn is today’s sponsor, but the beginnings of this tag actually started almost a year ago.
Last Decemeber my friend Marcia included some darling Lawn Fawn images and snow globe die cuts in her kit for The 12 Kits of Occasions. I didn’t get a chance to use them then, but as soon as I did, I fell in love and immediately searched them out to buy them for myself. Today’s tag shows the products that stole my crafty heart. The tag is made from Lawn Fawn’s Snow Globe Gift Tag. Inside the globe I placed a unicorn from Say What? Christmas Critters, a gift from Year Five, and a tree from Happy Trails.
I filled the “shaker" (I’ll explain more about this later) with Lawn Fawn’s Chunky Glitter. It is like they somehow bottled magic! The sparkle and colors are incredible. Ok, this tag is shaker-ish. The images are so tiny that the glitter can quickly cover them up, but not in a good way. To control some of the movement of the glitter, I did not pop up the layers of the shaker. I simply put the two pieces of acetate touching together. The glitter moves a bit, but mostly the sparkles stay in place, so you get the fun effect, but the cute unicorn stays visible.
Isn’t it so fun? I want to make everyone a tiny snow globe. My grandparents gave me two tiny ones when I was little and they were some of very favorite Christmas treasures. Speaking of treasures, I really do appreciate the visits and kind comments so many of you have left here these last couple weeks. Thank you for taking the time to visit! You'll definitely want to head to Tracey's blog next. There are oodles and oodles of the cutest tags being shared today.
I'm so glad I was able to inspire YOU Lindsey...this little snowglobe is still one of my all time favorite Lawn Fawn sets! Your little unicorn surrounded by the glitter is SO cute and now I want to go get my set out and play!! Thanks for inspiring me this year and for the shout out! Lots of hugs!! 😊❤
