Thank You For Helping Me Bloom

Good morning!  Teacher appreciation week is just around the corner.  There is nothing I love more than fully embracing school supplies and apple themed projects for occasions like this, but I decided to go a little different direction for a few of our teacher thank you's this year.

Waffle Flower's big Painted Flower Stencil & Die definitely make an impact on a card!  So much so that all I had to do was pair it with a heartwarming sentiment from the Small Sentiments Bloom Stamp Set to create these pretty little cards.

I went with a mini slimline design and always wonder why I don't use that card size more often.  I love that it makes that big bloom stand out even more.
This card comes together quickly.  I started with a little ink blending and flicking in the corners, and then stenciled and die cut the Painted Flower. Finally I added the Oversized Bloom Print Die and an embossed sentiment from the Small Sentiments Bloom Stamp Set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope that you have a wonderful weekend, friends!

Spring Hello

Hello!  I have a sweet, simple card to share today.  I love the dainty little flowers in Pretty Pink Posh's Spring Mug Additions.  They are simple and sweet with a cute stitched detail.  I had some leftover from previous cards, and I just couldn't throw them away, so this card was born.

I pulled out the Eyelet Rectangles Dies and used the largest die to create my card base.  Then I added some stitched detail with the Pierced Leafy Vines Plate Die.  I love this die and feel like it could be used all year.

Next I added some of those cheerful flowers and a butterfly from the Spring Mug Additions that I had saved.

I finished my card with a simple "hi" from the Big Easter Cupcake Dies.
And there you have it!  Easy peasy.  I hope that you are having a wonderful week, friends!

Waffle Flower April Release Day + GIVEAWAY

Happy Friday!  And today is extra happy because it is Waffle Flower's Full Bloom Release Day!  You can shop all the new goodies HERE.  Plus, I have a GIVEAWAY to share with you, so make sure you read to the bottom of the post.

There are so many gorgeous floral products releasing this month, and today I'm highlighting the fabulous Painted Flowers Layering Die.  I created a slimline card, so I could use lots of them. :)

The Painted Flowers Layering Die creates such a “wow” factor with a surprisingly small amount of effort.  And the layers for the flowers are easy to align…hooray!

These flowers look great die cut with colored cardstock, but this time I chose to blend the ink on them and the leaves. The etched details in the dies make them look fancier than the effort you have to put in to coloring them. ;)
Not to mention they pair beautifully with the new Oversized Boom Print Die that I used on my card as well.
I wanted to keep the background simple, so I added just used the Postage Collage Slimline Die to cut a solid rectangle.
Creating with these flowers brought me lots of smiles.  I hope they make you smile, too! And I hope that you head over to the Waffle Flower Shop to check out this amazing new release, and make sure to leave a comment to enter the giveaway...details below!

*****GIVEAWAY*****

Waffle Flower Sneak Peeks Day 3

Hello, friends!  Welcome to the final day of sneak peeks for Waffle Flower's April release.   Only one more day before you can start shopping for all these wonderful new stamps, dies, and stencils.  Yay!  Today, I'm sharing the gorgeous new Wild Flowers Stencil.  It's my favorite from the whole release!

The Wild Flowers Stencil set fills an entire A2 card with beautiful flowers and leaves. And it even has guides for color placement etched right into the stencils, which is really helpful and takes the guesswork out of everything.
I followed the color prompts quite literally on my card (although I did use a couple different shades of pink, green, etc.).  But even if you choose totally different colors, the etched color placements help you keep colors evenly distributed, so you can create stunning cards in no time.
I finished my card off with the new Mother's Day Word Die. The size makes a big impact on a card, and I love that it still allowed the beautiful stenciled background to sing.

I've made a few more cards this release, so make sure you come back tomorrow for some more inspiration and a giveaway.  Plus, tomorrow is the big day when you can start shopping for these fabulous new goodies!

Waffle Flower April Sneak Peak Day 2

Good morning, friends!  I'm back to share another sneak peek for Waffle Flower's April release.  There are several items being showcased today, and my card features the new Postage Collage Wild Flower Stencil.  The entire Postage Collage Collection is wildly popular (and for good reason), but the Postage Collage Wild Flower Stencil may be my favorite addition.  I love it!

It includes a fun variety of flowers, and a simple swapping of colors gives a totally different look each time.  I have a feeling I'll be reaching for this one again and again!  The only trouble is that I wish I could use these as actual postage on my letters. :)

I chose a happy, summery color scheme and went for a wildflower look with these the Postage Collage Wildflower Stencil, which provides some simple layering of colors.  This card is an A2 size, so I used the original Postage Collage Die

I chose a sentiment from the Subsentiments Bloom Diecut and added some stamped postage details with the Postage Collage Stamp Set

I just love the fresh, happy feel of this card!  It was so easy to make and with a simple swapping of sentiments, it could be used for so many occasions.  I sure do appreciate versatility!

All of these new products will be available for purchase April 5.  Make sure to come back tomorrow for another Sneak Peek.  Have a wonderful day, friends!

Waffle Flower "Full Bloom" Release Sneak Peak Day 1

Hello!  Today is the first day of sneak peeks for the Waffle Flower's April release.  The theme this month is "Full Bloom" and I am so in love with all these florals!

Today we are giving a peek of the fabulous Painted Flowers Background Stencil & Die.  They are so much fun!  Painting is not one of my strengths, so I love that I can achieve this loose, watercolor look with the help of these stencils.
Though they are designed to easily distribute alternating colors throughout, I used the stencils a little differently on my card and made rows of color instead.
The stencils are super easy to align, but even if you were off a tad, no big deal since the look is supposed to be loose and organic anyway.
The sentiment on my card is the Oversized Boom Print Die paired with a new Subsentiments Bloom Diecut. I did a little ombre coloring on the "bloom", so it would mimic what was going on with the flowers.
That's all for today, but make sure you come back tomorrow. I can't wait to share more!
