25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 12

 

Hello!  It's been quite the week around here with a sick baby and all the days are starting to blur together.  These tag posts are helping me keep track of the ending and beginning of days since sleep isn't happening much.

For my tags today I used the Merry Days stamps and die from Pinkfresh.  I wanted something soft and simple for these tags, so I chose to use the Merry Days tree die without stamping the images inside.  Instead I backed the tree with glitter covered card stock. 

And I literally adhered the glitter with spray adhesive to the cardstock.  It's been a long time since I've done that, but COVID-19 has helped remind me to be a little more creative.  No need to go out unnecessarily, and a single piece of glitter cardstock fell into the unneccessary category.

I made the pink tag first, but wasn't sure if it was a little too pink, so I completely toned it down and made a second grey tag....with just a hint of pink.

These trees are large (they fill almost an entire A2 card base), so I had a big pile of all the negative cut images. Tiny things I can toss, but I couldn’t let these go to waste, so I created two more coordinating tags with the leftovers.

Again, I covered the whole tag with Martha Stewart crystal course glitter.  Isn't it pretty?  It’s purely white (no iridescence) and is wonderful for a snowy feel.  I'd actually forgotten I had it, but it was a happy find.  I'm pulling out all sorts of things these days that have been sitting in the dust.  I'm curious...does else find themselves doing that lately? 

One last photo of all the tags.  I think in the end I'm team grey.  Any pink fans out there?
