I whipped this card up really quick last night for CAS-ual Fridays button challenge. As I was putting my son down to sleep I remembered this sentiment from PTI's Movers & Shakers Sentiments set. I noticed it last time I pulled the set out because I don't think I've ever used this particular stamp. I thought it would be perfect with a little rainbow of buttons. I found the perfect itty bitty buttons from Close To My Heart, slapped on some washi tape, and the card was done. Love cards that come together quickly.
Love it when a card comes together quickly and turns out great .....like this one. Love the way you added color with just the tiny buttons.
ReplyDeleteYes, all my sisters names start with Mary and they are all one word.
It was not meant to start out that way but by the 4 girl in a row it was done on purpose . 7 girls 2 boys Mark and Mike. :)
Great card, Lindsey! Love how you've used this stamp--I may CASe you :) And thanks so very much for all the lovely comments on my cards. Much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteI love it. I have that set too and I never pull it out because the Movers and Shakers part of it is just too darn much work. But you have used it so effectively on its own. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis card is adorable and the colored buttons add the perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteoh, I think I need that set...what an awesome sentiment! love your fun card!
ReplyDeleteOh what a great way to use those buttons, Lindsey! Wonderful idea to tie them in with the sentiment like that. So glad to see you at CAS-ual Fridays!
ReplyDeleteOh wow Lindsey, this is a masterpiece!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, Lindsey! But now, dear, we don't say we "slapped on" something, even though that's what everyone knows we did. We say "for added interest and texture, I placed my Washi tape at opposite corners to frame my sentiment." LOL! In all seriousness, this is another winner to me!!
