Waffle Flower May Release Day + GIVEAWAY

Good morning!  Release day is finally here for Waffle Flower's Beach Day Release.  Hooray!   You can shop all the new goodies HERE.  Plus, I have a GIVEAWAY to share with you, so make sure you read to the bottom of the post.  I'm so excited to share today's card with you.  It reminds me of my mom, so I love it extra.  

The Sea Foam Stencil is a must have in my opinion.  I wanted to use it on every single project…and I nearly did! I started this card by blending aqua ink through the stencil, then flipping the stencil upside down and doing it again.  I love how it creates the overlapping lines and shades of color. 

I was also completely smitten by the Seashells Dies.  I love the variety of shells included!  I was determined to use all the seashells and lots of them, so I fashioned them into a wreath on my card.  

I used a light hand blending ink in a variety colors on the shells, and then flicked some white paint on top.  In the center of the wreath I embossed a sentiment from the Beach Tote Sentiments Stamp Set. And I'm quite certain my mother (who loves to to collect seashells) would agree: life is better at the beach. 

Finally, I sprinkled on a few dew drops, which seemed to be the perfect finishing touch.
