Hello! I have a card to share today that I started a year ago. Yes, you read that correctly. A whole year. I created the background on my card base and never finished it, but I loved it too much to toss it.
The background was simple. I repeatedly stamped two eggs from Pretty Pink Posh Spring Eggs in kraft ink onto kraft cardstock. Then I used a white gel pen to color in the designs. I have to say, I absolutely adore how it looks.
Waiting a year allowed for the release of new products, so I pulled out my favorite Fall Foliage dies and cut various leaf sprigs in white and pale pink. I arranged them on my card and added a few pink blush pearl accents.
I pulled out the Birthday Scripts Stamp set and dies and embossed "Happy" in white onto black cardstock. Next I inked up a partial sentiment in Easter Signs to get just "Easter". A little foam tape to pop the sentiment up and my card was finally complete. Sometimes I think I'm crazy for holding on to unfinished cards because I rarely circle back to them, but I'm so glad I did this time. I sure appreciate you stopping by today! I hope you are headed into a wonderful weekend friends! (PS Don't forget that you can still snatch Pretty Pink Posh's Easter products on sale HERE for a few more days.)
The kraft, white and that little bit of soft pink all add up to PRETTY!!
