Concord & 9th Color Release Insta Hop

Good morning!  To say that I am excited to be joining Concord and 9th for their brand new color release would be a huge understatement.  I have been happy dancing for a month!  And if I'm being honest, some happy tears were shed as well.  Today's cards are part of a big Insta Hop going on, so make sure you head over to my Instagram account, so you can join.  There are so many incredible projects being shared and giveaways at every stop.  You do not want to miss out!

I can't tell you how much I love the new colors!  I have been swatching my little heart out and having the best time doing it.  Today we were supposed to share a favorite color combination.  It was so hard to choose!  I have lots of favorites!  So naturally I chose a color scheme with lots of colors. :)  Seven to be exact.
To create my card, I pulled out the new Mod Turnabout Stamp Set.  I only did 3 turns on the turnabout, but I used 5 colors.  One one turn I inked the entire thing with Oceanside ink.  On the next turn I inked up some with Avocado and some with Lemongrass (two of the new greens).  On the third turn I used Aqua Sky and Blueberry ink.  I just love how the old and new colors fit seamlessly together!
Instead of doing the final turn, I had some fun with the pattern and added Carnation and Sweet Pea dots in various sizes in the open spaces. (The dots came from the Sweet Bee Dies and extra dots from the "i" in the sentiment.)
Speaking of the sentiment, I cut one of the fabulous new Just Say More Dies in Blueberry Cardstock and framed it with Sweet Pea and Carnation flowers cut with the Sweet Bee Dies.
Before I move on to the next card I have to make note of the color swatch itself.  I made it using the new Swatchbook Bundle, which I think you are going to LOVE!  I'll be sharing more about it in the coming weeks, but suffice it to say that it is worth every penny.  The paint swatch lover in me is in color heaven!

Okay, while I had all my supplies out, I decided to make a second card.  I used all of the same colors, but this time I did four complete turns with the Mod Turnabout Stamp.  On the last turn I added in Carnation and Sweet Pea inks.
With a busy pattern on the card base, I decided to keep everything else simple.  I used the Markered Messages Dies for the sentiment, cutting it each letter with Sweet Pea, Carnation Aqua SkyOceanside, Blueberry, Avocado, and Lemongrass cardstock.
Then I added a few of the smallest hearts from the Just Say More Dies
Well, that's it for me today.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
Don't forget to pop over to Instagram to join the hop.  I would love for one of you to win the giveaway!  And you can check out Concord and 9th's full release here.  You are going to love it all!  Wishing you the most wonderful week, friends!

Easter Bunny Basket

Good morning, friends!  I've been meaning to share this card for about a month, and at last today is the day. :) I used a bunch of Pretty Pink Posh Easter products as well as several scraps I had leftover from other projects to create this card.

During the last release I created a bunny basket tag (you can find it here), which was a lot of fun.  This time I decided to make a bunny in a basket. The timing is actually quite perfect now because we are starting to see bunnies hop around the neighborhood.

I started by building a little bunny using pieces from the Easter Mug Additions Dies.  The little chick wings make perfect bunny paws. :) The only thing I hand cut were a few whiskers.  Next I die cut a basket using the Easter Basket Die.  I dressed it up with a layered bow using the bow from the Easter Mug Additions Dies on top of the slightly larger bow with tails in the Build a Gift Dies

Next, I stamped several flowers in the Spring Jar Stamp Set and cut them with the coordinating dies.  I tucked them around the bunny to fill the basket and added tulips and greenery from the Spring Foliage dies. To the center of the flowers I added tiny pearls in coordinating colors (light orchidsunshine, and bubblegum).

I needed something to ground the basket, so I used leftover flowers and leaves and added some of the darling stitched eggs from the Easter Mug Additions Dies.
The card base needed just a little something, so I decided (after a couple days of hemming and hawing) to create a plaid background to add some texture.  Atypical for me, I just sort of winged it.  I took two 4.25x5.5" white pieces of cardstock and cut one vertically in strips with varying widths and the other horizontally in strips with varying widths.  Then I just laid them down and wove a few of the pieces  in and out.  It was so fast!  Finally, I finished my card by building a sign with dies in the Easter Mug Additions and stamping a tiny greeting from the Spring Jar Stamp Set
Thank you for visiting today!  I hope you have a truly blessed Easter tomorrow!  May the joy of this special season fill your hearts with love and bring peace.

Pretty Pink Posh March Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello!  Welcome to Day 3 of Pretty Pink Posh's March Release Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Mindy Eggen.  Isn't she amazing?  This release is absolutely jam packed with products to get you excited for Spring.  I've fallen in love with all of it!

As you probably know by now there are six $25 gift certificates up for grabs along the hop, so you definitely want to join in (details below).

It's no secret that I have been loving the dies this release, and I couldn't help myself...I just had to use them again. :) Today's card uses the darling carrot in the Easter Mug Additions die set.  I think the stitched details are just so cute!

I started by die cutting the carrots in an assortment of colors.  Then I cut the carrot leaf in two shades of green.  I also cut some greenery from the Spring Foliage dies.  I love mixing and matching the greenery on top!
After staggering the arrangement of colors, I added a layered sentiment using the Happy Spring Shadow dies.  I'm a huge fan of this new line of dies.  The shadow addition to the script is great!
If you'd like to see a few more of these dies in action, here are some projects I've shared over on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog this week...
Thanks so much for visiting today!  You're next stop is the incredibly talented Melissa Phillips.  I have been the biggest fan of hers for years!  You are in for a treat!  And make sure to leave comments along the way.  Six winners will be randomly picked from blogs (two each day).  All comments must be left by 11:59 pm PST on 3/14/2023.   Happy hopping, friends!

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Blog Hop

Hello!  Welcome to Day 3 of the Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Laurent Taylor's fabulous blog. (If you are joining us in the middle of the hop, you can find the hop lineup down below.)

We are celebrating Pretty Pink Posh turning 9 with a brand new release, which is available now in the shop here.  There are gift certificates up for grabs, a free giftcoupon code for you to shop with (see below), and oodles of inspiration this week.  Let's get started!
This is such a fabulous company owned by the most wonderful people, and I hope all their wishes continue to come true, so I made a card with that in mind.  I pulled out the new Wish Stamps and
Coordinating Dies and got to work.  I love the size of these letters!

I started by clear embossing the Wish Stamps on raspberry, green, and blue cardstock.  I opted not to stamp the "I" and instead die cut a candle from Birthday Mug Additions in aqua sky and oceanside cardstock from Concord & 9th to take its place.
There are so many fabulous dies releasing this month, so I pulled out the Wish Big Script Dies and finished off my sentiment with the scripty "big".
I could have just left it here, but decided to create a whole scene.  I added some balloons from Birthday Mug Additions, and scalloped circles from the Winter Circles Dies.  Then I framed everything with the frame in the Fancy Cake Dies and filled the shaker with confetti cut with the confetti die also found in that set.
If you look really closely, you'll also see that I dry embossed the card base with the Layered Stars Stencils.  This card really is an explosion of fun.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!  These new products have been a blast to create with.  I think you are going to love them!   And right now is the perfect time to shop.  There is a coupon code below and also a darling stamp set + die being offered with qualifying purchases this week.
Plus, don't forget the hop!  Make sure you hop along and comment at each of the stops.  There are eight $25 gift certificates up for grabs (one winner each day).  Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop.  Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 2/15/2023.  Winners will be announced on the PPP Blog.  Happy hopping and happy shopping!
