Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #26
Good morning! I'm excited to share with you the newest challenge at Where Creativity Meets C9.

Isn't color amazing? You can create holiday projects using non-holiday supplies simply by using the right colors.
I must say that these tags were a blast to put together and made "layers" a totally do-able task for me, which is saying quite a lot.
I hope that you'll join us for our Layers Challenge this month! Head over to the Where Creativity Meets C9 Blog to check out all the details on how to play, and don't forget that every challenge entry is a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th. They have a brand new release today...fabulous as always, so make sure to check it out HERE.
Challenge #26 is all about layers. Now normally I would be a bit anxious about this particular challenge, but I recently had the need for lots of baby and birthday gifts (and flowers!), so I made lots of tags. I realized Concord & 9th's Hooray Ribbon Dies are great...and more importantly easy...to layer. Today I'm sharing a Halloween set of tags (although all you have to do is swap out the colors and you're good to go for any occasion).

The rectangular base for my tags is from Concord & 9th's Monogram Dies, and I die cut a little hole topper from their Sprinkles Tag Dies to thread the twine through. The center sentiments come from a retired set called Lots of Blots; however, you can still find it in various online scrapbook stores. I really love it for gift giving. I also think that the the new Bold & Brushy Alphabets would be perfect to stamp your own sentiment here. Had mine arrived before I made these, you'd be seeing a big bold and brushy "boo" in the center of at least one of them. :)
On my first tag, I created the background using splatters from Grateful For Everything. Then, I stamped Concord & 9th's Plaid Background in orange before cutting the medallion layer in the Hooray Ribbon Dies to emphasize the layered look a bit more. I finished the tag by layering several of the circle layer cuts in the Hooray Ribbon Dies.
I created the next tag in the same way, but just swapped out the colors. When I stamped the white ink it wasn't quite as vibrant as I hoped, but using a white gel pen in the washed out areas was an easy fix to brighten it right up.
On the last tag I wanted a different background, so I embossed Sketched Stripes instead.Isn't color amazing? You can create holiday projects using non-holiday supplies simply by using the right colors.

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #25
Good morning! It's the 9th of the month, so we have a brand new challenge starting at Where Creativity Meets C9. I love the variety of themes within this challenge, and this month was especially fun for me because Challenge #25 is a color challenge.
This beautiful autumn palette comes from Design Seeds.
When I pulled out all my ink pads and lined them up, I loved how it looked so much that I translated the design to my card. It's CAS as could be and uses some of Concord & 9th's August Release products that I just can't get enough of.
The leaves and ink splatters are some of the individual stamps that are included in the Thankful Leaves Turnabout and the sentiment comes from the Grateful dies. It's such a delicate, detailed die, but it's surprisingly easy to use because of all the places the words connect. Hooray for a wonderful design!
This color palette is absolutely beautiful, and I sure hope you'll join us for Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #25. Head to the blog for all the details and don't forget that every time you play along with a challenge you enter to win a guest design spot for the challenge or a $25 gift certificate to Concord and 9th. And have you seen their holiday release that is available this morning?!? Oh my...it's fabulous! Grab your wallet and go HERE to check it out! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #24
Hello! Today is a super exciting day! Not only does Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #24 start, but Concord and 9th's new release goes live and all their 3rd birthday festivities begin. I'm super excited because the Where Creativity Meets C9 Design Team gets to be a part of all the fun. Yay! Trust me, I've been working with the products from the new release (check them out HERE) for a few days, and they are loads of fun!
Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #24 is an easy one - "Anything Goes" - so we hope everyone will play along with us this month. Today my card is featuring the brand new Birthday Balloons stamp set and Birthday dies from Concord & 9th. And guess what? You can earn them for FREE with a qualifying purchase this month from Concord & 9th. Check out all the details on their Promo Page.
I love banners. Love them! So my cards focus on just two of the stamps included in the Birthday Balloons stamp set. The sentiment is from the Birthday Balloons dies.Such a simple design, but I love that all it requires is stamps, ink, and a regular old stamping block. No special tools needed. Bonus that it works equally well for both the girls and boys in your life. :)
All of my teammates have awesome creations being shared today using this new bundle, so make sure you go to the Concord & 9th Blog to check them out. You'll be surprised (at least I was!) and how much you can do with them. We can't wait to see all the fabulous things you make this month for our Anything Goes Challenge! Don't forget, a randomly selected winner gets a $25 gift certificate to Concord and 9th and there's no better time than now to shop the latest release and take advantage of all the sales and promotions going on right now. Happy shopping, my friends! :)

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #22
Good morning! Are you ready for another Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge? This one will put a smile on your face.
The theme for Challenge #22 is Sparkle and Shine. This is such a fun, happy challenge, and I smile every time I think about this card. Possibly because it makes me think of the cute niece I made it for. ;)
I was super excited to finally use the Rainbow Wishes Bundle from Concord and 9th. These stamps and dies bring instant smiles. I just love them! Since the theme of the challenge is sparkle and shine, I started there. I grabbed a few different glittery papers and cut them with the Rainbow Wishes Dies. If you look close, even "bright" was cut with glittery paper. I completed the sentiment with some stamps from Rainbow Wishes and added a few glitter covered hearts to finish it off.
The best part of these challenges is seeing what everyone makes. Make sure you head over to the Where Creativity Meets C9 Blog to see what my talented teammies whipped up, to welcome our new teammate, and also to find out all the details on how to enter. Don't forget that you have a chance to win a guest design spot for the challenge or a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th. And have you seen their newest release? Lots and lots to love. You can check it out and shop HERE. Thanks so much for visiting today! Wishing you a happy weekend!

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #21
Good morning! I'm so glad to be back playing along with the newest challenge at Where Creativity Meets C9. The theme for Challenge #21 is floral!
The theme for Challenge #21 is floral. Awesome, right? I love love LOVE flowers and plants, so I was happy as could be to see the theme. Concord & 9th has some fantastic new floral sets and several of my teammates have used them beautifully, so make sure you check out the Where Creativity Meets C9 Blog. Today I'm showing some love to some older sets because I love how they stand the test of time. To build my floral background I started with the rose and navy blue flowers and grey leaves, which come from Concord & 9th's Pineapple Perfection. After stamping them on the card base, I stamped several extra rose colored flowers and popped them up for some added dimension. Then I filled in the gaps with the large berry and sprig from Concord & 9th's Wildflower stamp set..
I finished my card with a sentiment created with stamps from Sophisticated Script (hugs) and
Best Banners (from me to you) and a sprinkling of sequins.
I can't wait to see what you create for our floral challenge. Whether you use old or new stamp sets, Concord and 9th has tons of florals to choose from. And don't forget, you can check out their brand new release HERE. Without fail there is always something to love...lots of somethings! :)

Catching Up: Where Creativity Meets C9 + 12 Kits of Occasions
Good morning! I just wanted to let you know that Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #20 is officially live. Make sure you head on over to check out my talented teammates' projects.
After three consecutive days of snow flurries here, I'm as anxious as anyone to be creating spring cards. I'm just hoping the snow didn't kill all our budding blossoms. I do so love to see the flowers bloom! Speaking of flowers, Concord and 9th has an AMAZING new release today. I just ordered! :) You can check out the new release HERE. Now is a great time to buy, too, because April is Concord & 9th's Customer Appreciation month and they have freebies being offered and extra sales going on. Happy day, right?
You may have noticed some silence here the last month or so. We've been dealing with quite a bit of family illness, me included. I missed out playing along with my friends at The 12 Kits of Occasions in March, but make sure you visit the 12 Kits of Occasions Blog to check out all of their fabulous cards with Jessica's kit. And guess what? Some of the goodies used in the kit like Concord & 9th's Unicorn Dies are part of Concord & 9th's Customer Appreciation sale. Nothing like seeing something you like being used and finding out it is on sale. :) Lots of smiles happening here. Thanks for visiting today. I hope you are all headed into a beautiful week. I sure hope to be back to crafting soon. Hugs!

Where Creativity Meets C9 Sneak Peek
Hi! I'm over at the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog this morning with some extra inspiration for our current Sketch Challenge. Hope to see you there!

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #19
Good morning! Are you ready for a new Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge? This month's challenge is something we've never done before.
It's a sketch! I have to admit I tried a few different ideas before I stuck with this one and in the process forgot that the sketch had the sentiment centered...oops. Oh, well. You'll see that some of us were a little looser with our interpretation of the sketch, and that's totally okay!
I've used Concord & 9th's Magnolia Wreath stamp set a few times, but would you believe I've never inked up the actual wreath? I thought it was high time to remedy that. And the design with the two tabs is so brilliant and makes everything so easy to line up. I stamped and die cut the wreath as well as several flowers and berries that can all be found in the Magnolia Wreath Bundle. I just love that this set sort of magically morphs into any season depending on the colors you use.
It's a sketch! I have to admit I tried a few different ideas before I stuck with this one and in the process forgot that the sketch had the sentiment centered...oops. Oh, well. You'll see that some of us were a little looser with our interpretation of the sketch, and that's totally okay!
I embossed a Happy Birthday sentiment from Concord & 9th's Many Mandalas set onto a tag from the Love Notes Envelope Dies. It didn't stand out quite as much as I'd hoped, so I stamped the sentiment a second time just a tad bit offset to look like a shadow. Oh, and I almost forgot my wood stripes. They come from the Petals and Pallets set.
Pop over to the Where Creativity Meets C9 Blog to read all the details on how to join us for Challenge #19. You're bound to find lots of inspiration, and you might be the lucky winner of a Concord and 9th $25 Gift Certificate or have a chance to guest design with us for an upcoming challenge. Happy crafting! PS Concord & 9th is releasing another fabulous set of products today. You can check it out HERE.

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #18
Hello! A new month means a new challenge at Where Creativity Meets C9. The theme for Challenge #18 is
watercolor! Truth be told, this card was an oops. When I went to stamp the ice cream image from Concord & 9th's Here's the Scoop Stamp Set, it slipped a bit, so I re-stamped it on another card and started working on that. Well, I was trying to figure out what Zig markers to use, so I came back to this one and just used it as a practice sheet to try out colors. It was messy and watery and not really intentional, but the more I looked at it, the more I started to like it. So I decided to keep it, stamped the ice cream image on top of it again, and added a couple sentiments from Here's the Scoop. Imperfection isn't always a bad thing, right? :)

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #17
Hello! I hope you've had a wonderful start to a new year and that you are ready to join us for a new challenge at Where Creativity Meets C9. Challenge #17 is one of my favorites that we've had. The challenge is to use your very first Concord & 9th set (stamps or die).
My first set was Flourish, and it is a set I still reach for, so I was happy to use it again. I made this card for a lovely lady and enjoyed lots of happy and thankful thoughts of her as I created it.
I'm looking forward to seeing you dust off your first Concord & 9th sets to join us for Challenge #17. Head over to the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog to see all the details on how to play and enter to win a guest design spot or a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th. And don't forget to check out the brand new release for Concord & 9th that goes live HERE today! You know it's going to be a good one! :)
My first set was Flourish, and it is a set I still reach for, so I was happy to use it again. I made this card for a lovely lady and enjoyed lots of happy and thankful thoughts of her as I created it.
I love the large scale "Happy Birthday" in Concord & 9th's Here's the Scoop stamp set, so I decided to stamp that and then frame it with the flowers and branches in Flourish. I stamped all of the images first with Hero Art's Unicorn White ink, and then stamped the leaf details with PTI's Enchanted Evening and flower details with Altenew's Rouge ink.
After stamping I felt like the card needed just a teeny bit of something extra, so I used a white gel pen to add a few scattered dots. It did just the trick.I'm looking forward to seeing you dust off your first Concord & 9th sets to join us for Challenge #17. Anything Goes! It couldn't have come at a more perfect time for me.
