When I was designing cards for Pretty Pink Posh's May release I had a friend preparing for surgery. I tend to like my cards much more when I make them with someone in mind, so I used my friend as inspiration for this card. She has the most incredible flower gardens all throughout her yard and generously shares her flowers with others. She is constantly putting together arrangements to brighten someone's day and brings beautiful arrangements each Sunday to put in the chapel at church.
I knew that a basket full of hand-picked flowers (or rather hand crafted in this case) would be something she would appreciate, so I pulled out my Spring Foliage and Easter Basket dies. I cut flowers from Concord & 9th’s honeysuckle, buttercup, sorbet, sprout, and parsley cardstock, and I cut the basket out of wheat cardstock.
Thank you for visiting today! Wishing you all the best this week!
