Good morning! I can't believe it, but I've got my first Christmas card of the year to share today. I'm using the Pretty Pink Posh Collaboration set for Stamptember called Skiing Bear.
This set has some super cute critters in it that my teammates have made adorable cards out of. They are so talented! I took a slightly totally different approach.
I selected just two stamps in the set - the trees. To create my rainbow of trees, I stamped them in Concord & 9th's Poppy, Honeysuckle, Aqua Sky, Parsley, and Sprout and Papertrey Ink's Berry Sorbet ink. Then I fussy cut them out (but the process would be a lot faster if you bought the bundle and used the dies). I popped them up just a little skewampus because why not? .
I used the sentiment included in the Skiing Bear stamp set, and if you look closely, you'll see that I also embossed the three snowflakes randomly in white on the panel.
I used Pretty Pink Posh's Simple Strips Dies to die cut strips in Concord & 9th's Poppy, Honeysuckle, Berry Sorbet (PTI), Aqua Sky, Parsley, and Sprout cardstock. I wanted the diagonal stripes to lead your eye to the sentiment, so I adhered the red strip in the top left corner first. To make sure spacing was even, I layed down one of the larger strips each time, and then adhered the following strip next to it.
Absolutely beautiful.
