Concord & 9th Birthday Bash Blog Hop

Hello, friends!  I'm super excited to be joining Concord & 9th's Birthday Bash Blog Hop today.  I'm a fan of blog hops, I'm a fan of Concord & 9th, and I'm a fan of prizes, so today is a happy day. :)  Have you been joining in on all of the fun at Concord & 9th this month?  I hope so because there are $20 gift certificates being given away daily (go HERE to check it out), incredible new products including an exclusive sequin mix, big sales, free stamps with a $60 order, and more!  Christmas is coming a little early to my house because I just couldn't resist and had to place an order. :) And that brings me to today's card. 
I had a completely different card scheduled to post today, but when I received my new goodies in the mail, I just had to make something new.  Plus, I realized the theme of my original card wasn't exactly the best for a birthday celebration.  I've wanted Pop Art Pineapple for a long time, so using it was a must.  I pulled my color scheme from the Birthday Bash exclusive sequin mix which I used inside my shaker.  The sentiment and banner are from Happy Day (LOVE this set!).
And here is my original card, a super simple card using two of my absolute favorite products from Concord & 9th--the Blossom Die and coordinating Brushed Blossom Stamp Set.  One of the reasons I love these products so much is that they are so beautiful on their own.  As you can see, you really don't have to do much at all to create a card.   Win in my book!

    I just learned of Concord & 9th today from another blog hop and I'm amazed with the detail in their stamps. I agree with you that you don't have to do much to them if you have to make something quick. But I'm a more is more kind of a person so it will be fun to play with their stamps.

    I'm quite taken with both your cards; they've captured my CAS-loving heart in being simple, yet incredibly pretty! The pineapples as shakers: charming.     Hi Lindsey ~ I have to admit that I'm a TOTAL sucker for a good shaker card! They really are fun and festive and that's exactly what you've created with that beautiful pineapple. Unfortunately, we all need sympathy cards at one time or another and this one is just lovely; sometimes less is more!!     Love both your cards! You're right, there aren't many stamps that you don't have to do much with them, but these are pretty unique like that - they look absolutely wonderful if you leave them just like that and they look beautiful with loads of color!! Its double the fun!!

    Hey Lindsay, Pop Art Pineapple is one of my fav products from Concord and 9th. I especially love how you made a shaker card with the pineapple die...too much fun!!! The Brushed Blossom die is just beautiful and it's perfect for your sympathy card! Thank you for sharing your gift!!

    Amazing cards, Lindsey! I really love the pineapple shaker! And you are right about the other cards - they look so beautiful with just a simple background wash!! And the stamps too - you really don't have to do much - but then, they would also look superb with some coloring.. you get the best of both worlds!!

    I am floral girl and am really smitten with C9's floral stamps and dies. The sympathy card is just lovely. I love the way the die can lie over the stamped image. The color wash you made is perfect with the sentiment.
