Spellbinders Large Die of the Month: Botanical Atrium

Good morning!  I've had the pleasure of working with several Spellbinders Club Kits this month.  Today I'm sharing a card I made using Spellbinders January Large Die of the Month.

A few months ago I attended a field trip with my daughter to a farm that has been operating for a few hundred years. Outside of the farmhouse there was a beautiful old atrium covered in vines and plants.  I couldn't help but think of that when I saw the Large Die of the Month: Botanical Atrium.

Using that old farmhouse atrium and my childhood dream of discovering a secret garden as inspiration, this card was born.
The Botanical Atrium comes with the delicate atrium die, a solid backing (so you can make a shaped card), as well as lots of foliage and and even some tiny butterflies.
I added a sentiment die from from January's Stitching Die of the Month (Stitched Ladybug).
This card sure has me dreaming of spring. (We're in the middle of a winter storm right now.)

I hope that you've enjoyed your visit today!  You can see lots more inspiration using Spellbinders January Large Die of the Month on their website as well as find out all the details on how to pick up one of your own.  I have several more cards to share, so I'll be back soon. :) Have a lovely weekend, friends!

Waffle Flower January Release + Giveaway

Hello, friends!  Today is a happy day because Waffle Flower's newest release "Far Far Away" is officially live and ready for shopping here.  There are so many fabulous book and fairytale related products that I love, and one to not be overlooked is the Feather Pen Die-n-Stencil.  It's one of those things that takes very little effort to create something beautiful.

I wanted to highlight that beauty, so I kept my card clean and simple.
I started by stamping the Script Texture Stamp Set lightly in gold ink.  Though you can make out some of the text, it's purposely vague nature makes it perfect to add just enough but not compete with any other elements on your card.
Next I die cut a gold sentiment using the previously released You & Me Dies.  Their scripty feel seemed the perfect pairing with the beautiful feather ink pens.
Now for the fabulous Feather Pen Die-n-Stencil. After I die cut the pieces, I blended on coordinating pink and aqua inks for the feathers.  The layered stencils do all the guesswork for you.  I popped them up on my card, and ta-dah! The card was done in a snap.

If you've made it this far, thank you!  Now for the giveaway details.
