Christmas with The 12 Kits of Occasions
Hello! As crazy as it is that today is the last day of November, I'm so excited about Christmas that I don't even mind. Our latest kit from The 12 Kits of Occasions had a whole lot to do with me being so excited. Jessica (from The Paper Parade) put together a kit full of cuteness, and it happens to be the same colors as my Christmas tree decorations, so now I'm eager to get my tree all set up. My post today is a bit of a tease. Mom duty called after I had only photographed one card, so I'll be adding more of my projects soon. In the meantime I hope you enjoy this card, which is a mashup of many, many different companies (MFT, Mama Elephant, Winnie & Walter, Neat & Tangled, etc!)
That little tease of a Christmas tree in the background was a fabulous idea, Lindsey! Now tell me, do you own the die for that string of lights? I couldn't begin to fussy cut that little darling! and your sentiment, too?! LOve your decorators... xxoo

ReplyDeleteWell your one card make up about 5 cards. So festive and cute and CAS which is what I love about your designs!! Mom duty is always more important than cards. P.S. you were amazed how I managed the tags? I am always amazed how you manage the late nights with two small children. xo
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet teaser card...just adorable having those cutie pie critters holding up the string of stars, a great way to deck the halls...can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteThis is precious Lindsey!! I like the soft tree I see in the background. Mom duty always comes first. Can't wait to see what's to come from Jessica's delightful kit!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! Love those cute little creatures, perfect sentiment, lovely bg and, gah!, the plaid scarf!
ReplyDeleteYes... mom duty is always a loving priority!
Oh how sweet is this! I think I have seen some on Instagram that I love too! I love the way you used that sentiment and I think I have most of those left. Loving the very light tree in the background too! I too am wondering where November went and October!!!!! Guess that is one more reason to enjoy the moment we are in!
ReplyDeleteOh and what a wonderful peek you shared! Mom duty is important - your priorities are in the right place! I'll be back to see more! I love this playful scene you created.. the red sentiment just jumps off the page, and the little guys steal the show ! Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable, Lindsey! The subtle background tree is wonderful with your precious little bears. And I love the bold sentiment! You get a star for being outstanding at fussy cutting--the sentiment and string of stars look awesome!
ReplyDeleteYour little sneak peek is quite the tease for sure Lindsey but family always comes first. I love how you thought to have those two little cuties holding the star banner. Did you seriously cut that out by hand?? Fussy cutting and I don't do well together. The soft image of the tree in the background is awesome! How did you get it so light?? It's dreamy!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet, Lindsey ... that softly stamped Christmas tree makes for a fabulous background for your cute little banner-holding critters! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteA mashup card that is out of this world adorable!! You seriously have the perfect eye for how to put things together to be both adorable and stunningly beautiful :) I love it and want to copy it for the extra cards I need!
