Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #17

Hello!  I hope you've had a wonderful start to a new year and that you are ready to join us for a new challenge at Where Creativity Meets C9.  Challenge #17 is one of my favorites that we've had.  The challenge is to use your very first Concord & 9th set (stamps or die).
My first set was Flourish, and it is a set I still reach for, so I was happy to use it again.  I made this card for a lovely lady and enjoyed lots of happy and thankful thoughts of her as I created it.
I love the large scale "Happy Birthday" in Concord & 9th's Here's the Scoop stamp set, so I decided to stamp that and then frame it with the flowers and branches in Flourish.  I stamped all of the images first with Hero Art's Unicorn White ink, and then stamped the leaf details with PTI's Enchanted Evening and flower details with Altenew's Rouge ink.
After stamping I felt like the card needed just a teeny bit of something extra, so I used a white gel pen to add a few scattered dots.  It did just the trick.
I'm looking forward to seeing you dust off your first Concord & 9th sets to join us for Challenge #17.  Head over to the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog to see all the details on how to play and enter to win a guest design spot or a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th.  And don't forget to check out the brand new release for Concord & 9th that goes live HERE today!  You know it's going to be a good one! :)

  4. My first stamp set, too, but I must admit I've found it intimidating to use. Your card may be my all-time favorite using Flourish & I'm pinning it for inspiration! I so love your choice of colors!
